Howdy Y'all, it's Trejan on the Sunrise. Today we went fishing and crabbing with 14 people. We left the harbor and decided to go north to fish. We traveled for about 20 minutes before we set our crab pots along the beach. After that, we traveled another 10 minutes to get to our first fishing spot. On our first drift, we caught 5 fish. We proceeded to catch 6 on the second, and 5 again on the third. We continued to catch between 4-9 fish a drift until we limited out in about 2 and a half hours. After we limited out, we went to go fish specifically for Lingcod. We did this for a little over an hour, and then we went crabbing. We got a whopping 62 crab. That's the most crab we had caught in about 2 months. After we crabbed, we finished our trip by heading back into the harbor. We finished with rockfish limits for everyone, and a little under 4 and a half crab per person. For almost the entire trip, there was perfect wheather. Overall, It was a great day to go fishing and crabbing.
